Shoes for the Homeless 5K Run/Walk to End Shoelessness

Join us for the Shoes for the Homeless 5K Run/Walk to End Shoelessness at West Los Angeles College in Culver City, CA. Lace up your sneakers and let's make a difference together! This in-person event aims to raise awareness and support for the homeless community by providing them with much-needed footwear. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, everyone is welcome to participate. So, gather your friends and family and let's take a step towards a better future for those in need. Let's end shoelessness, one step at a time!

A bit about Shoes for the Homeless, Inc:

Shoes for the Homeless, Inc. Has been providing gently used shoes to the homeless and those in need for over a decade. To date, over 250,000 pairs of shoes have been distributed throughout Los Angeles County, alone. Shoes are given away for free and are never sold. The October 14^th 5K Run & Walk Fundraiser will go a long way in helping to continue this valuable work to end shoelessness, for those in need.

Shoes for the Homeless, Inc. is a 501 ( 3) ( c) nonprofit located in Culver City, CA. Although the primary thrust of the organization is in southern California, other states have also partnered with us to provide the homeless with shoes in their own regions. Shoes for the Homeless operates primarily as an all volunteer organization with donations of gently used shoes coming from individuals and numerous other sources. Additionally, new shoes are frequently received from manufacturers and retail businesses.
