Women In Business Connect Mixer 17.8

Join us for a special Women's Empowerment Mixer at our new member SHIELD Women's Self Defense. Attendees will have the chance to network and take a class on the basics of self-defense.

SHIELD Women's Self Defense is a close range fighting system specifically to empower women against sexual assault. Class will cover ways to get out from common assault for women, i.e. grab from behind, chokehold, hair pull, and various pinned down on the ground positions. We also discuss precautionary safety tips, situational awareness and studies on sexual assault in Southern California.

Nelson Nio has taught self defense to over 10, 000 women and girls in major universities, high schools, Fortune 500 companies, private groups and government entities.
